In the 3000 Star Calendar, most galaxy planets face environmental collapse—no normal green plants remain. The Federation invites off-world experts to restore ecosystems, leading a recent university graduate into Go Planting in the Interstellar.

Betrayed by friends, she lands a seemingly ideal job… only to discover it’s a one-way ticket. No return journey. Her dream of peaceful farming shatters upon arriving at a planet filled with flamboyant “giant plants”—mutated horrors she never studied in agriculture classes.

“Run! The wheat flowers are chasing us!” She’s carried to safety as wheat morphs into man-eating blossoms. Later, corn tassels come alive, grabbing at her hair; foul-smelling photinia flowers lure her with fake “wonderful scents.” Every crop is a nightmare.

Staring at the rampaging plants, she begs to quit. “Quit? This job’s a lifetime commitment! No way out,” comes the reply. Trapped in a galaxy where farming means fighting for survival, can she turn these monsters into humanity’s last hope… or will she become fertilizer for the fields?
