A teenage boy weaves through the crowd, eyes fixed on the battlefield where a sixteen-year-old stands victorious again. "He wins without losing a round!" cheers erupt. A bald elder grumbles, "How does a kid have such experience?" The boy shrugs, "Lucky, I guess," tucking his prized insect away.

Before he can leave, a tall girl with a ponytail blocks his path. "You skipped school for this? Why no calls?" she chides. "Focused on the match," he replies casually. She sighs, "Senior year starts soon." He waves her off, "I’ll go back tomorrow. Besides, insect battles are boring now."
